We can Help!

Our Programs and Services are Free!

Centre for Skills is an independent charity with multiple centres across Halton and Peel. We provide free, government-funded programs to support people at different life stages—youth, job seekers, second-career seekers, and newcomers to Canada—on their journey to career success.

Our services include personalized job search and career development support, workshops, academic upgrading, fully funded pre-apprenticeship skilled trades programs, settlement services, and English language classes for newcomers and more. We also partner with employers, offering free recruitment support, access to pre-screened candidates, wage and training incentives, and customized skilled trades training.

Employment Ontario programs and services are funded in part by the Government of Canada and the Government of Ontario and through the Canada-Ontario Job Agreement.
