Accountabilities
- Communicate regularly with customers to gather information related to technical issues;
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical/air components used on cranes;
- Perform preventative scheduled maintenance and repairs to ensure safe and proper working order of cranes ;
- Review technical inquiries of customers to recommend possible solutions related to the operation or maintenance;
- Answer service calls;
- Perform cold calling to attract new customers
- Being Proactive & proposing good technical solutions to increase customer equipment durability,
- Reliability, productivity & safety
- Maintain Inventory
Education & experience
- Electromechanical Engineering Technician program or equivalent degree;Electrical Licence such as 442A,
- Journeyman Electrician or Red seal;
- Excellent mechanical and electrical skills;
- At least 3 years of related work experience;
- Driver license G
- Welding experience, an asset
Skills & Abilities
- Ability to solve technical problems
- Ability to communicate issues to customers
- Comfortable working at heights and in all weather conditions
- High degree of initiative and flexibility
- Ability to work variable hours, overtime, and/or "on call" as needed
- Ability to work autonomously & within a team environment at all times.
