We cater to a variety of business with commercial kitchens, from smaller independently owned to larger franchise restaurants, banquet halls, schools, day care centres, retirement facilities, country clubs, hotels etc.  If there is a kitchen there is grease, where there is grease there is FKS to service the exhaust cleaning to keep you in business by providing you with regular maintenance in accordance with the National Fire Prevention Association (NFPA 96).  Our service also complies with Insurance Agencies and Health Inspections.
 
We are looking for a Maintenance Labourer to join us full-time or part-time.

The role and responsibilities:
General Description:

• Pressure cleaning and maintaining commercial kitchen ventilation systems and equipment in accordance with NFPA fire safety standards.
• Safe work practices and equipment operation techniques; using high-pressure washers, and ladders, working at heights, exhaust fan maintenance, etc.
• Professional interaction with customers and team with problem-solving and adapting to situations while meeting a consistent, high-quality of service

Requirements:

• Valid G license and a clean driver’s abstract required for commercial vehicle
• Flexibility to work varying shifts and have own vehicle to get to and from Burlington head office
• Good physical condition
• WHMIS and Working at Heights an asset. Must be comfortable with heights and working with ladders

Working Hours:

• Full-Time role: 40 hours a week, Split shift
• Part-Time role: 12-16 hours a week
